Our economy can be considered participatory because not only are we involved with our countries economy but also foreign contries for example iraq. We have helped them to become a country with a democracy and they need aid with money so we help and in return we get things back.
Our economy could be defined as a participatory economy because the choices that we make on which things to buy...affect the product the businesses make..so if we decide not to buy something from K-Mart then K-Mart will have more items to try to sell. Like if a DVD player cost 50 dollars at K-Mart and Walmart sells them for 30 dollars, most likely a person would go for the 30-dollar DVD player.
i think that our economy is all wayis suporting alot of contries in the world like the ones with the low econnomic resorces and elso it intructs there own people on how things are going in the economy so thats why i thing that the usa economy is participatory
